Hilton Los Angeles Airport: superb rooms, amazing food, gracious staff–an incredibly good hotel!

The sleek Hilton Los Angeles Airport is an extraordinarily good hotel, in fact, one that can hold its own with the best Los Angeles hotels. Despite its Vegas-like size (1234 rooms), this is unquestionably the finest hotel to choose if you need to be close to the airport. But we’d stay there in a heartbeat even if we didn’t have to fly.

Bustling 24-7, the Hilton LAX has a soaring lobby filled with flowers, gleaming brass and top-notch art, super-fast elevators and quality, large comfy accommodations and suites that are as quiet as a baby’s nursery. We slept in premium bedding and used super-duper eco-friendly amenities. But that’s just the beginning.

There are three outstanding restaurants and a bar/lounge within the hotel. Plus 24-hour room service, rare in any hotel today. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Andiamo, a relaxed and elegant spot offering contemporary, refined traditional Northern Italian dishes and global wines of distinction. The service and cuisine were impeccable.

The Café serves breakfast daily, and the 24-hour Bistro has Starbucks coffee, snacks, and hot meals (their eggs Benedict are a must). One can also visit Landings Bar for casual dining (we had terrific pizza), drinks, and big-screen TVs, and Runway on 16th for craft cocktails and light fare with a view.  Here, a mixologist offers handcrafted cocktails, and you’re free to admire LA sunsets, watch airplane landings and takeoffs, and listen to vintage vinyl records. Runway on 16th is currently exclusive to all Hilton Honors guests.

Guests enjoy free lobby WiFi, and there’s a great pool, sparkling clean 24-hour fitness center, premium TV channels, concierge, and a generous policy that allows children to stay free. Also, your pet is welcome here and will be greeted with gusto. A small store stocked with essentials is always open for shopping.

The multi-lingual staff at the Hilton LAX has been carefully selected and trained to go above and beyond to serve guests’ needs. No detail or request seems too large, no detail too small.

We especially appreciated this hotel’s enhanced cleanliness measures: attentive, detailed daily room service; high-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected; sheets and towels are washed at 60°C/140°F or hotter; all employees follow standard cleaning and disinfection practices of CleanStay, a Hilton patented touch.

The Hilton LAX is located off the I-405 and offers a free shuttle to LAX Airport (large, immaculately clean vans with polite drivers), one mile away. SoFi Stadium and The Forum are three miles from the hotel. Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica Pier are within 13 miles. They have Hertz car rental, park-and-fly options, and stress-reducing gardens to walk in. We parked our car here safely with the kind and fast-moving valets, a happy and efficient crew of gentlemen. Or self-park and save a few dollars if you wish.

In conclusion, ENTREE highly recommends the Hilton Los Angeles Airport for business travelers or pleasure-seekers. It stands head and shoulders above any LAX hotel and is so professionally managed you’d think you were at a 5-star Beverly Hills hotel. They’ve thought of everything here to make their pampered guests feel totally at home and with rates starting around $150, this is a true bargain for the highest of standards.
