The Pierre NY, A Taj Hotel has announced the November line-up of live music performances in the elegant Two E Lounge – 2 East 61st St, NYC. The lounge hosts no-cover, no reservation live jazz and standards every Wednesday – Saturday from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
Guests enjoy bespoke cocktails and seasonal lite bites provided by award-winning Executive Chef and Culinary Director Michael Mignano in an intimate, elegant setting that provides a welcome respite from busy days. Originally the Gentlemen’s Library when The Pierre opened in 1930, Two E Bar & Lounge has become one of the most beloved venues at The Pierre, A Taj Hotel. Designed by Alexandra Champalimaud to reflect a chic Upper East Side residence, Two E retains its original molding details on ceiling and columns. The Neoclassical design features an eclectic mix of custom furnishings in warm woods, with scattered groupings of chairs, upholstered armchairs and banquettes adjoining low pedestal tables. At night, Two E transforms into a stylish bar that serves up handcrafted cocktails complemented by small plates.
