New York hotel Romance in NYC: Sofitel New York Launches Valentine’s Week Menu and Exclusive Package

While recently in New York, ENTREE sampled the delights of Gaby’s Brasserie Française located in the Sofitel New York on West 45th Street. The restaurant is named for Mademoiselle Gaby Deslys, who was a popular Parisian singer-actress and muse of the King of Portugal in the 1920s. Its ambience is intended to capture the essence of classic French dining during this period. We like to drop by pre-theatre for pate en croute, lump crab cakes, quiche, maybe a demi poulet roti or steak frites. We also can’t resist their tuna tartare, filet mignon and black truffle pasta. For sweets, we never pass up one of Gaby’s crème brulees or apple tartlets. A wine list with extensive offering of French wines to pair with the cuisine would bring Bacchus to his knees with happiness. From the bar, the masterfully created bespoke cocktails, theatrically concocted, were also a big hit. The elegant design of the restaurant’s interior includes Art Deco touches and soft lighting. Gaby’s Brasserie Française offers an intimate ambience ideal for a romantic evening that would make Edith Piaf feel right at home warbling Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien. There is pleasant outdoor seating in case you might like to enjoy the stars and vibrant excitement of the Big Apple. Horn honking, too. An ideal destination for those wanting to sample authentic French cuisine in the heart of Manhattan. Visit https://www.sofitel-new-york.com/eat-drink/gaby/s Valentine’s Day approaches, you might consider Sofitel New York’s Valentine’s Week menu for any romantic NYC dining round-ups you are working on.
