There seems to be magic everywhere one turns in Las Vegas. We found the best magic at the Linq Hotel where magician extraordinaire Mat Franco does a nightly show called “Magic Reinvented Nightly” that will astonish even the most jaded. Franco is a boyish 35 years old with a distinguished pedigree in prestidigitation. Best known for his personality driven, skill-based sleight of hand magic, he gained fame as the first magician to win America’s Got Talent, in the show’s ninth season. Franco went on to produce and star in his own primetime TV specials on NBC, Mat Franco’s Got Magic.

Mat’s the best magician on The Strip, hands down. He doesn’t do the big flashy stuff like Copperfield but his tricks seem more genuine. His love and passion for his craft as well as his joy when interacting the audience is on full display. This is magic as it is meant to be: clean, fun, funny, and baffling. Kidsa and adults will be spellbound by him. He’s an awesome performer with cards, balls, and other odd props and his show is absolutely jaw-dropping. Some other magic shows we’ve seen are easy to decipher how the illusions are done. Not with Mat; it’s as if the man has actual magic in his bones and we sat 4th row so were close enough to spot any funny business. ENTREE highly recommends going to see him: he is funny and engaging, and we had an all-around fantastic time seeing him and his baffling tricks.
