Walter Foster Publishing, an imprint of The Quarto Group, has published a new series of coloring books from folk artist and puzzle maker Eric Dowdle and they get our enthusiastic imprimatur.

With more than 30 million puzzles showcasing his artwork sold across the country, folk artist phenom Eric Dowdle now offers four new coloring books through Walter Foster Publishing. “Coloring books reignites the child in all of us,” says Dowdle. Launching in May of 2024 with Beautiful Beaches and National Parks, the series will continue in June 2024 with America the Beautiful and Around the World. Each coloring book will feature Dowdle’s iconic art of cities and landmarks.

Original full-color illustrations alongside the coloring pages will offer inspiration for color choices, and the abundance of detail filling every inch of the page will provide hours of relaxing entertainment, with complex outlines to challenge and inspire.

Known for his paintings of famous places from around the world, Eric Dowdle has sold more than 30 million puzzles that feature his art and has hosted two television shows and a radio program.
