We’ve never seen more beautiful trays, bowls, plates and platters than those made by Maison Madison, a company that merges European artisanship with American glamour at the dinner table. ENTREE is highly impressed with their style and quality. It was love at first sight when we first saw their work.
Their dinnerware is crafted at a family-owned facility in Portugal from the finest ceramic stoneware. Each piece is hand-finished, making it unique and one-of-a-kind.
The founders of Maison Madison, Colette and Susannah, met during their studies in college. Although their first encounter at the elementary French class did not elevate their linguistic skills, a creative sisterhood was formed.
A shared design vision and complimentary skillset found the two in leadership roles at a historic British homeware brand. When they weren’t managing the business from their Madison Avenue showroom, Colette and Susannah traveled from the Ozarks to Plymouth, from coast to coast, growing the tight-lipped British brand to a cultural phenomenon throughout the United States.
With over a decade of experience, each formed a deep understanding of consumer tastes and lifestyles, manufacturing and design that inspired them to embark on a venture of their own that answered the call to celebrate their American heritage and appreciation for European craftsmanship.
Maison Madison represents a lost era of American glamour where every meal is an occasion for “the good plates” and tableware collections are handed down from one generation to the next. https://www.maisonmadisonhome.com/
