Thanksgiving

The special family style Thanksgiving Feast will be served on Thursday, November 28 from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm in The Dining Room. The prix fixe fare is $70 per person and consists of a comfortable classic dining experience meticulously planned by Chef Ryan Steed, who only uses the freshest local produce handpicked from the weekly farmer’s market. Young guests six years of age and under are complimentary.

The traditional Thanksgiving menu includes a bountiful feast of Roasted Turkey and Glazed Bone-in Ham complemented with all the classic trimmings.  No holiday feast would be complete without topping off the meal with sumptuous Classic Pumpkin Pie or some hand-baked Persimmon Cookies.

Reservations for this special Thanksgiving dinner are highly recommended as The Dining Room has limited space and sells out quickly. Christmas Day

In addition to the tantalizing dishes always offered in The Dining Room, a variety of special dishes will be available for guests to enjoy on Christmas Day. Guests enjoy a beautiful view and first-class gastronomy that blends California comfort, fine dining and hushed intimacy. The Dining Room is open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm and reservations are recommended.

New Year’s Eve

There is nothing quite like New Year’s Eve at the timeless Hotel Shangri-la with an exclusive dinner and cocktail package. Begin the celebrations in The Dining Room with a specially prepared four-course dining extravaganza before starting the countdown to 2014 in Suite 700, Santa Monica’s only open-air rooftop bar and lounge that overlooks the ocean.  Ring in the New Year with the most popular party of the year at Suite 700, enjoying great music, wonderful libations and a midnight champagne toast. The Dining and Cocktail package is $125 per person. For those who prefer to enjoy dinner only, the prix fixe price is $75 per person.
