We have always loved this hotel because of its serene zen-calm atmosphere—no casino, excellence in dining and gentlemen and ladies as staff. If you don’t want to get pushed and shoved around in a turmoil of frat boy boozing, this should be your only home in Las Vegas. It is elegant and beautifully run. Yet, there is a sense of fun and humor about the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. All is not boring here. There is great jazz to be heard here on Sunday nights, special in-room amenities for the children, celebrity watching galore, and a general sense of happiness and fun. The beds? Like clouds.
