LivBar: organic superfood

LivBar is a USDA certified organic nutrition bar made with real food ingredients and packaged in the industry’s only compostable wrapper. It is is the fastest growing organic brand in the natural category and on shelves in all 50 states.

The story

LivBar was founded by a nutritionist who struggled to find a convenient snack for her clients that was nutritionally balanced and actually tasted good. What began as a small mission to nourish her community, has grown into a brand that’s leading the real food revolution and advocating for increased sustainability across the industry and all 50 states. In 2021, a customer challenged herself to a waste-free hike on the Pacific Crest Trail, bringing LivBar along on the journey. She ran into other sustainably-minded hikers, including a writer for Outside who interviewed her about the experience. Read the article here: https://tinyurl.com/3awtsbf8.

Food wrappers are the 4th most common single use plastic found in the environment. Most other energy bars are wrapped in plastic, and primarily unbaked and extruded. LivBar tells a different story. All bars have a complex flavor profile and satisfying texture. They’re made with organic (and local, when possible!) ingredients, baked at LivBar’s own solar-powered and SQF Certified facility, and packed in the industry’s only compostable wrapper. LivBar is certified USDA Organic, Certified Kosher, Certified Gluten-Free, and Non-GMO Project Verified. These certifications give customers further confidence in the brand’s commitment to a superior and clean product and supply-chain.
