Santa Barbara’s top attraction: MOXI The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation

Santa Barbara has so much to offer for both visitor and resident and top on our list is MOXI The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation, a treasure of a place for discovery and imagination. If you want to create lasting memories for the entire family, head to lower State Street and MOXI.  We go again and again; it’s the best museum and best entertainment in Santa Barbara. We delighted and learned along with our kids playing with the many interactive award-winning exhibits at MOXI. Science, technology, engineering, math, art, nature–all came alive.

Especially the newest exhibits: SuperArtificial Makerspace, Climate Change Challenge, Building Brick playspace. Of course, we couldn’t resist the permanent exhibits like Tech Track, Speed Track, Sound Track, Sky Garden and Light Track. We had a blast. You will, too. The museum shop is alone worth the visit. And so is the delicious ice cream served up by local favorite Rori’s in front of the museum. MOXI, 125 State Street, Santa Barbara, (805) 770-5000.  During the summer, MOXI is open seven days a week from 10 am-5 pm. Best to book in advance, children 3 and under get in free, $14 for those 3-12 and $18 for adults.
