Starting February 4 and running until the 11th, the magic will happen at Catch, Casa del Mar’s American much-admired seafood restaurant. Signore Mazzone is well known for his clean flavors and light touch with fish from this southern island with beloved, traditional dishes that are elevated through a modern lens and beautiful presentation. He will be joined by Alberico Nunziata, the Executive Chef at Casa del Mar’s Catch, and their choices for this celebration sing of both coastal Italy and California.

Expect such dishes on the a la carte menu like octopus salad, veal in tuna sauce, cioppino, Morro Bay black cod, roasted scallops, grilled branzino, and red snapper. Pasta lovers needn’t despair: there will be risotto with tomato and capers, spaghetti in garlic, oil and breadcrumbs, tortelli with lobster. And carnivores will feel right at home with Angus beef with bell peppers, Colorado rack of lamb, slow braised short rib and Genovese-style chicken with hazelnuts, all done with an Italian twist.
